About this site

The violence in north-east Delhi in late February, 2020, destroyed lives and livelihoods.

It will take a long time for the survivors, who have lost so much to put their lives back together again. A number of initiatives have begun to extend help, with emergency supplies like food and clothing, among other things. This blog collects information on such relief work, by government bodies, NGOs and other private organisations, and individuals, so that you, a concerned citizen who wants to help in some way, can find worthy recipients of your goods or money.

Please note that while we try to verify all that we list here, we strongly advise that you look up the people and organisations as well, and satisfy yourself that are doing the work you would like to see get done.

(The 'we' at this point is just Peter Griffin; I'm hoping to persuade a few friends to join in.)

If you have suggestions, pleae let me know. Via email if you know me personally, or in response to this tweet. It would be most helpful if you pointed to a single link — a tweet or thread, a Facebook post, a publicly-viewable web page somewhere — which lists what kind of work is being done and how other can contribute.
